Default Good afterhours - Cast adrift without a good Saturday club

As of right now, I am completely clueless about where to go out on weekends.

I used to be absolutely obsessed with System Soundbar, but ever since the renovations, the vibe has changed considerably - it's more classy, and the crowd has changed with it. It's more of a typical club now than the good old "warehouse rave" feel it used to have.

We'll go to the Guvernment on occassion, but there's somewhat of the same attitude there, and on the few occasions we've been there, about half weren't worth the ridiculous overcrowding and complications getting in.

So what's a poor boy to do? What places in Toronto are still around that keep that "warehouse" feel that system used to have - awesome music, and 100% without pretension?

System and Guv are institutuions and are great, but if you didn't like it there, try Film and Boa.

What's the atmosphere like? I was under the impression Film at least was more of a "clubby" atmosphere (horrible choice of words, but you get my drift.)

I don't dislike either System or Guvernment - I'll still go to System, but it's not so good that I won't consider going anywhere else anymore.

Try them, I really think you'll like the spots.

Try Film on friday (or saturday)
and
Boa on Saturday.

I would recommend BOA. Not only does it run late but it has without a doubt the best sound in Toronto. 2
