Default ULTRA

So who has been there to check this place out??

I went last night for a birthday party, and it was GORGEOUS!! I can definitely see some similarities between the decorations there and at Guv, it was done in similar taste but of course Ultra is much more upscale. The food was exceptional, as were the drinks. Complimentary champagne was a nice touch as well We ended up sticking around after dinner for the rest of the night, since it's sort of a half restaurant/half lounge type thing. The crowd was older, 30+ and looked like mostly business people. I don't know who the DJ was, but he was playing nice chill house music all night. What I liked best was the attention to detail, they have these amazing glass chandeliers in the dining room w/ candles all over them... they were beautiful.

Overall, I'd rate our night out 10/10 - I would be broke if I went there every weekend, but for special occasions I reccomend everyone to check it out. The only small complaint some of our group members made was that the service was a bit slow (and they weren't that busy either), but they made up for it by bringing free champagne for our table, complimentary coat check, etc.... 2 2

Checked it out before Chrismas, it's great!

I know some of the staff there too, they're all very good.

You're kidding me right? It's nothing like the Guvernment .. defenilty in a class on its own. I don't even feel like I'm in Toronto, nevermind on Queen Street!

^^

Actually the decorations in the back room especially sort of reminded me of some areas of Guv, such as Tanja's/Charlies (I forget exactly... the room on the side on the way to the orange room). Anyways, it was done beautifully, and you're right it definitely doesn't look like it belongs on Queen St.!!!
